Cookies and Measurement
1. Summary
- service.tnaado.ca shows no advertising. It does not use Google AdSense, ad units or a remarketing pixel from a social platform. Its Google Ads tag does contact Google's remarketing addresses (see Advertising below).
- It does use Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads conversion tag, and sets first-party cookies. Google receives data from your browser when those tags run.
- We do not run our own cookie banner. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site and booking form still work.
- The Answers and Travel sites do show Google ads: see their own cookie notices at /answers/cookies-and-ads/ and /travel/cookies-and-ads/.
2. Cookies and browser storage
2.1 What we observed
The table lists what we saw when we loaded the site in a test browser on 26 October 2026, plus items described by the site's own scripts. Google and Cloudflare may set different or additional identifiers depending on your region, device and settings. Lifetimes are as observed or as set in the site's code.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors for measurement | About 13 months |
| _ga_ followed by a property ID | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for measurement; two such cookies were observed | About 13 months |
| _gcl_au, and _gcl_ls in local storage | Google Ads | Records which advertisement led to an enquiry (conversion measurement) | About 3 months |
| test_cookie (doubleclick.net) | Checks whether the browser accepts cookies | Short; expires within a day | |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers that a security check was passed | Up to 1 year |
| tn_vid | TNAADO (first party) | Random identifier so two pageviews from one browser can be linked | 1 year |
| tn_attr | TNAADO (first party) | Holds campaign values from an advertisement until you book | Up to 90 days |
| Session storage (booking cache) | TNAADO | Caches the list of free booking slots; no personal information | 45 seconds or until the tab closes |
tn_vid and tn_attr are set by the site's own scripts and are not set for visitors that look like bots, so they did not appear in our automated test.
2.2 Other requests
Your browser requests fonts from Google Fonts and a code library from jsDelivr. The page also contacts Cloudflare's web analytics script and our own endpoints. Those requests send your IP address and browser details but we have not observed cookies set by them.
3. Analytics and conversion measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Y561C98Y8Q) for aggregate reporting on which pages are read and which campaigns bring people in. The same tag also reports to our Google Ads account (ID AW-17175265494) so an advertisement can be credited with the enquiry it produced. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Event data is kept for the period set in our property (2 or 14 months, Google's options). Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for what Google does with this data. Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses, in connection with these services.
4. Advertising
We run advertising for our own services on other sites, such as Google Ads. This site itself carries none. Visits are reported to Google Ads for conversion measurement. In our test the same tag also contacted Google's remarketing and DoubleClick addresses (google.com/rmkt/collect and ad.doubleclick.net), which Google uses for audience and remarketing features. We have not verified whether remarketing audiences are switched on for our Ads account, and the tag runs for every visitor before any choice.
5. Your choices
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Browser preference signals: we do not currently read Global Privacy Control or similar signals ourselves.
6. US state privacy laws
We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws define "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include advertising measurement like this. To the extent they apply to us, you can opt out using the choices above and ask about your information at contact@tnaado.ca. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
The site is a business site and is not designed for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, where separate consent rules apply. We do not operate our own consent banner and have not built a consent control for Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion measurement.
8. Sources and basis
- Google Analytics Terms of Service, section 7, and Google, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services: disclosure of Google Analytics and of cookies.
- Google Publisher Policies, Privacy disclosures (support.google.com/adsense/answer/10502938), applied to the Answers and Travel sites; included here only to explain that this site carries no AdSense.
- California Privacy Protection Agency FAQ (cppa.ca.gov/faq.html) for the "sale"/"sharing" wording.
- Cookie table from a test load on 26 October 2026 and the site's published scripts; it is a snapshot, not a guarantee. Not reviewed by counsel: see the notice at the top of this page.
