Accessibility Statement

TNAADO Home Page (tnaado.ca) · TNAADO Inc. · Last updated 26 October 2026 ·

This text has not been reviewed by legal counsel. It describes how the site operates and is not legal advice. If you rely on it for a legal decision, consult a lawyer.

1. Our aim

We want tnaado.ca to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are working toward that target. The page has not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim that it fully conforms.

2. What we can say today

On 26 October 2026 we read the page's source. It declares its language (English, Canada), has a skip link to the main content, labels its main, secondary and footer navigation as separate regions, gives its logo and images text alternatives or marks them decorative, and respects a visitor's "reduce motion" setting: with reduced motion on, decorative video and scroll animation are not loaded or played. We have not run a full automated or manual check, tested colour contrast across the page, or tested with screen readers, so we make no further claim.

3. Known limitations

  • The page uses full-bleed photography, decorative video and light text on dark backgrounds. We have not measured every combination for contrast.
  • The cookie banner and preferences panel are scripts added to the page; we have not tested them with every assistive technology.
  • Linked sites, including the Dispatch, the free tools and social media pages, are outside this page's control and have their own accessibility.

4. Feedback and requests

If you find a barrier, or need information from the page in another format, email contact@tnaado.ca. Please include the page address, what went wrong and the assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix problems we can confirm as soon as practicable.

5. Technical information

The page is built with HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript, and relies on a current web browser. Content is readable without scripts, but the cookie banner and animation need JavaScript.

6. Status of this statement

This statement is voluntary and describes our intentions and current practice. It is not a promise of any particular level of conformance and is not legal advice. It was last updated on 26 October 2026.

7. Sources and basis

  • W3C, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (w3.org/TR/WCAG21/), the stated target.
  • U.S. Department of Justice, Guidance on Web Accessibility and the ADA (ada.gov/resources/web-guidance/): cites WCAG as a helpful technical standard; no rule requires a private website to publish a statement.
  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11), s. 14 (websites): applicability depends on the number of employees in Ontario, which we have not assessed.
